Monday's conference in Paris of potential donors to the Palestinian Authority, chaired by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, had nothing to do with the development of the Palestinian economy or the alleviation of the appalling suffering of the Palestinian people. Rather, it will serve to increase unemployment, poverty and oppression.

Who Speaks For The Palestinians?
By Dan Lieberman
It seems that the Palestinians have no voice, but the appearance is
deceiving; the Palestinians have potent voices of international law and
international reason. A major problem is they lack active support from an
international community that has been negligent in providing the necessary means to implement United Nations (UN) resolutions and mandating accepted international laws http://www.countercurrents.org/lieberman191207.htm
