Israeli Arrested for Involvement in Bosnia Genocide

(WAFA)- Israeli police arrested on Tuesday an immigrant from former Yugoslavia to extradite him to Bosnia for involvement in the 1995 Srebrenica genocide and crimes against humanity.
Alexander Cvetkovic, who moved to Israel with his Jewish wife and children in 2006,is accused of helping Bosnian Serb forces killed about 8,000 Muslims in Europe’s worst massacre.  Cvetkovic received Israeli citizenship by the law of Jewish immigration to Israel.
The prosecutors submitted a petition after arresting the 42-year-old Cvetkovic to the Israeli Central Court in Jerusalem, to approve extraditing him to Bosnia for prosecution on genocide charges, and asked to extend his detention until the court decision.
