Change Requires Change

To borrow words from fellow activists : We are the ones we've been waiting for. We cannot sit on our hands and pretend change is going to come. Change is not coming unless we create it. Please attend any protest in your area and that is only as a first step in creating this change.

Protest Israel's massacre of Palestinians in Gaza and the complicity of the international community. This is an attack against a starving and captive people.

Israel has been targeting the entire population of Gaza with the cooperation of Egypt and United States for months with other middle eastern Goverments doing nothing. Since Saturday this coordinated action escalated in a bloody and illegal way, but no less illegal and immoral than the siege of Gaza which has been ongoing for months.

These are historic crimes : targeting of the Islamic University, a university of 18000 students, 60% of which are
women; targeting of mosques; targeting of fishing vessels on the coast, the only source of sustenance for Gazans in the past weeks when food supplies have been so low the bakeries are making bread from animal feed; thousands of wounded inundating hospitals not provided with supplies such as insulin and gauze for weeks leading to the
situation where pregnant women are turned away because the numbers of urgently wounded are so large.
