Just after midnight on early Thursday morning, Israeli warplanes fired missiles into Jabaliya Refugee Camp, just northwest of Gaza City. One house was totally destroyed, a resident injured, and damaged neighboring houses.
Eyewitnesses reported that the target for the attack was the home of a member of the armed resistance wing affiliated with Hamas, Al Qassam Brigades, near the mosque.
The bombardment destroyed the house completely, and damaged the houses nearby. One Palestinian who was walking nearby suffered light injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The family had received a phone call in which the Israeli military threatened the attack which came a short time later after the family had fled.
Just yesterday Israeli aircraft fired a missile into Palestinian Legislative Council member Mariam Farhat's eastern Gaza City home, completely destroying it.
