Presidency Spokesperson Warns of Allowing Jewish Extremist Groups to Enter into Al-Aqsa

Spokesperson of Presidency, Nabil Abu Rdaina, warned Wednesday of the repercussions of the Israeli High Court ruling that allows Jewish extremist groups to enter tomorrow into al-Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Jerusalem.

Abu Rdaina, said that the Israeli ruling breaches the international norms and conventions which prevent Israeli authorities (the occupying power) from intervening in the affairs of al-Aqsa Mosque.

He asserted that such ruling is a serious escalation in the deteriorated situation in the region, calling on the Israeli Government to prevent such groups from reaching al-Aqsa Mosque.

Abu Rdaina, mentioned that the Palestinian Leadership has begun international contacts for preventing deterioration in the situation.


IOF Seizes Hundreds Donums of Olive Trees in Nablus

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) seized Wednesday hundreds donums of citizens' arable lands in the West Bank (WB) city of Nablus.

IOF seized the lands under the pretext of expanding Jewish colony of "Shafi Shomron" that exists on the citizens' lands and the Israeli bulldozers razed the olive trees of Deir Sharaf village's lands.

The Mayor of Deir Sharaf, Muhammad Abu Halawa told WAFA that IOF seized more than one thousand donums of lands planted with olive trees in Al-Rous and Al-Sal'at areas in Sabastya and Al-Naqwra villages northwest Nablus.

Abu Halawa added that these lands are the main source of living to the citizens' in the light of employment and economic hardship.
