Palestinian refugees in Lebanon release balloons to commemorate Gaza massacre victims

Dozens of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and their supporters commemorated the Palestinian victims of Israel's indiscriminate campaign of violence in Shujaiya, Gaza by releasing balloons symbolising those Palestinians who had been killed.
Convoys of youths and community members departed from several community centres at the Burj Shemali and Rashidieh refugee camps, near Tyre (Sur) in Southern Lebanon, to a local beach. Upon arrival, a Palestinian student band played various national songs as students tied nametags for the dead to red, black, white, and green balloons.
The community members held signs calling on the world to stop Israel's mass slaughter in Gaza and emphasising the genocidal nature of the Israeli offensive. They also proudly embraced their right to resist the Israeli occupation, as well as their legal right to return to Palestine.
The on-going Israeli assault on Gaza has so far claimed more than 1,000 Palestinian lives, most of whom are civilians. Israel killed over one hundred people during a single night of bombardment in the east Gaza neighbourhood of Shujaiya. Journalists and international volunteers observing the Shujaiya massacre have risked death themselves to report the indiscriminate shelling by Israeli forces, the bombardment of ambulances and the killing of medical staff and journalists, as well as morgues overflowing with bodies.

IDF Begins Redeployment Plan with an Attack on Lebanon

that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not their's—Habakkuk 1:6

Something is truly wrong with Israeli baptizing capabilities. Hercules planes are named "Rhinoceros;" the air force commanders obviously never visited a zoo.* Ships bear no less odd names. "Davur" means "wasp" while the related "Dvora" means "bee." Would Israel's next satellite be named "Worm?" Is "Martin" a suitable name for a tank? Only the Elders know.
In a rapid sequence of events that left Middle Eastern rhinos eating dust, between August 23 and 25, 2013, the IDF conducted a series of attacks in Lebanon while announcing the strengthening of its Super-Dvora Squadron along the Lebanese border.
IDF Brave New Plan Implemented
On July 12, 2013, Minister of Defense Ya'alon disclosed a redeployment plan named "Te'uza;" the plan was rumored for a while long, but despite that its details are surprising. The plan includes the cut of almost $2 billion of the army budget, over 10% of it, and its shifting towards hi-tech weapons. Old weaponry and its units would be finally taken out of service.
A substantial rearrangement of the armored forces will take place. Old Magach tanks (Modified American Peton 48 and 60) would disappear. Obsolete Tiran tanks (modified Soviet T34 tanks) would probably be transformed into trendy toasters and given as gifts to needy reservists.
Super-Dvora 3
Super-Dvora 3
Fahrenheit 451
Regular artillery would be downgraded in size. The navy will renounce to its oldest ships. Several air force squadrons would be dismantled or merged. The anti-missiles system, which proved to be little else than expensive fireworks+ during the recent Operation Pillar of Cloud would not be expanded. The IDF wanted to deploy 10 Iron Dome and 4 Magic Wand batteries this year; it won't happen. The regular army will be reduced in 5,000 soldiers.
The image created is the same reported in Key IDF Rearrangement Announced; the IDF is shifting its deployment from a defensive one into a clearly offensive one.**
Not only with names the IDF has problems. Unlike older ships (like the Sa'ar class) which were constructed by Israel Shipyards, the Dvora class is built by IAI-Ramta, a division of Israel Aerospace Industries. Are tanks in Israel build by the Tax Authority?

Damascus is the large city inland, Beirut the largest one by the sea

Quick Like a Bunny
On August 22, four Katyusha rockets approached the Galilee, setting off air-raid sirens in Acre, Nahariya and other areas in the Western Galilee. Sunni group Abdallah al-Azzam Brigades took responsibility for the event. The anti-missiles systems deployed in the area failed+ to perform.
One missile hit Kibbutz Gesher HaZiv, damaging a road and vehicles. Another two landed without damages. The fourth was intercepted between Acre and Nahariya. This is consistent with the roughly 30% success of the anti-missiles system during Operation Pillar of Cloud, despite official claims of 90% success. Not only baptizing is a problem in the IDF; statistics are not their strong point.
This irrelevant event was used as a trigger by the IDF.
Hezbollah Hit in the Galilee
Galilee Hit on August 22, 2013
1984
All this talk about rhinos and bees left me a bit confused, but that was the obvious intention. The hits had been performed by the Abdallah al-Azzam Brigades while the IDF answer the next day was on the Na'ameh Base of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, just south of Beirut.
IDF Spokesman Brig-Gen. Yoav Mordechai said that the Israel Air Force struck targets a few kilometers from Beirut adding "The strike forms a clear message by the IDF and Israel to decision makers in Lebanon whom we see as responsible for yesterday's rocket attack."
Hezbollah-affiliated TV network Al-Manar quoted a spokesman for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command as saying that the target was the Na'ameh Base. A Lebanese security source confirmed that, adding that the target was a network of tunnels used by the PFLP-GC in hills overlooking the Mediterranean coast. The rocket caused a 5-meter (16-foot) crater, but no casualties.
Hours after that, two explosions near Sunni mosques in Tripoli, further north, caused almost 30 deaths and left hundreds of wounded. Despite claims that it was caused by Hezbollah in retaliation to an earlier attack, Israeli media outlets reported the event while mentioning the earlier air force attack. In the Israeli typical undertone in such cases, the odd linkage is a hint to a secret operation.
"Mr. Minister of Defense, we were attacked by Turkey, let me retaliate in Russia," is the logic displayed by the IDF command. "Rhinos, bees; same, same," the officer continued his bestial monologue, "they are all anti-Semites, the sooner we kill them the better."

* Hercules aircrafts have a long history within the IDF. The picture opening the article linked below shows a Mercedes within a Hercules during Operation Entebbe in 1976. During operations Solomon and Moses, the Karnaf Squadrons ("Karnaf" is Hebrew for "Rhinoceros") carried thousands of Ethiopians to Israel.
The IAF Command probably understood that naming an aircraft "Rhinoceros" is a bit awkward. The old two squadrons are being unified these days. The Super-Hercules would have a new, dedicated squadron and a new code name. "Shimshon" is "Samson" in Hebrew; the Biblical name is derived from "Shemesh," sun. The new unit, owning three aircrafts, is scheduled to become operative in April 2014.
See First Super-Hercules Delivered to IAF
** The announcement of Plan "Te'uza" (Bravery) came amid a test of a new engine for the Jericho missiles, capable of carrying a nuclear warhead of 1 metric ton for 5,000km. It was a declaration of an offensive redeployment of the army (see Jericho Ballistic Test, Saudi Missiles, and an IDF Brave New Plan).
+ Israel likes to make boastful declarations about its antimissile systems. Yet, most reports on Israeli media are about failed interceptions. Israel manipulates its antimissile system interception data; this is the result of the systems being aimed for export, mainly to South Korea and Singapore, but also due to the generous American support of the development process. The manipulation is straightforward; the system is deployed exclusively where it has optimal interception conditions. Moreover, during Pillar of Cloud, Israel shot two anti-missiles against every missile. This leads to what in Measurement Theory is known as a bad sampling of data, which becomes unrepresentative of the overall population of the studied event. With this foiled magic, Israeli media claims that the interception rate is 90%. In Pillar of Cloud ends Unfinished, I quoted the data released by the IDF following the operation. It shows that 700 missiles out of the 1,000 fired by Hamas hit Israel. This amounts to a 70% failure of Iron Dome. (Israeli Anti-Missiles Fail in Eilat Attack)

Hamas calls on Hezbollah to withdraw its forces from Lebanon

The Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine - Hamas - has issued a statement today describing Hezbollah's military intervention in Syria as contributing to the worsening climate of sectarian polarisation in the region. Hamas called on Hezbollah to withdraw its forces and urged it to maintain the compass of resistance only in the direction of the Israeli occupation.
On another level, Hamas reaffirmed in its statement the inalienable right of the Syrian people to attain their rights and aspirations in freedom and dignity. The movement described the Syrians as a 'noble people', who have always been sincere in their resistance and in the forefront of struggle and defiance. They have always shown solidarity with Arab and Islamic causes, the statement added.
Today's statement was issued following a meeting of Hamas' leadership in Cairo. It noted that the Palestinian cause remains the central issue of the Arab and Islamic nation and that resistance against the Zionist occupation is the basic mission. Hence it is necessary to keep the compass of resistance in the right direction, whatever the conditions and circumstances.
Still further, Hamas emphasised the need to preserve the unity of the Muslims and to avoid all forms of sectarian and ethnic polarization.
It is noted that the statement from Hamas comes days after Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrullah, vowed to continue fighting in Syria alongside the forces loyal to the Assad regime. Hezbollahhad played a major role in the government's recapture of the strategic town of Qusayr.
Relations between Hamas and the Assad regime deteriorated after the escalation of the conflict in Syria. The movement's leaders have since left Syria where they had their headquarters.

Nasrallah: We Can Turn Millions of Zionists’ Lives into Real Hell

by Alex
Update: Another Version (Translation)

As his eminence stresses that the Palestinian cause is a central one, Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, says that the resistance can turn lives of millions of Zionists into real hell.Nasrallah threatens “hell” if Israel strikes LebanonSayyed Nasrallah
Nasrallah threatens “hell” if Israel strikes Lebanon
Commemorating the International al-Quds day, Hezbollah held a ceremony in Beirut’s southern suburb, in which Sayyed Nasrallah addressed crowds, stressing that the resistance would defend the country against any Israeli attack, and would not wait for any permission to do so.His eminence noted that the price of this attack would be very expensive to the extent that “we can talk about tens of thousands of killed.”
Hezbollah S.G. affirmed that the issue of al-Quds “is over all disagreements”, adding that the Islamic Republic has been committed to the Palestinian cause. Concerning the events in Lebanon in the last two days, Sayyed Nasralla said that Hezbollah following the abduction of the Lebanese pilgrims in Syria had asked people to go out of streets. However his eminence stressed that now after three months of the abduction, the condition in the country was over control of Hezbollah and Amal Movement.
Sayyed Nasrallah also slammed media channels for their performance, saying it was “catastrophic” especially regarding the responsibility towards the kin of the abductees.

ABOUT THE OCCASION: AL-QUDS
Sayyed Nasrallah stressed on the importance of making al-Quds the central cause, saying that it is over all disagreements within the Arabs and Muslims.
“We meet today in al-Quds day which Imam Khomeini had chosen as an international day in the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan,” his eminence addressed crowds.
“Imam Khomeini chose this day for al-Quds in an indication that this spiritual condition that we live in Ramadan should be concentrated in the favor of al-Quds.”
“In every year, and especially in Ramadan, we need to return to al-Quds and Palestine in order to recognize our religious, moral and humanitarian responsibilities toward them.”
Concerning Hezbollah’s stance towards al-Quds, Sayyed Nasrallah wanted to “reassure the enemy and the friend that the issue of al-Quds and Palestine is over all disagreements, and our faith in it would not be shaken.”
His eminence said that the Israeli enemy has been working on judaizing al-Quds, as he noted that the issue of al-Quds is an issue of consensus within the Israelis.
“We can’t talk about the future of al-Quds without talking about the fate of the enemy’s entity because the Zionists agree upon this issue whatever they disagree on other issues.”
“Zionists agree upon al-Quds and they are working on judaization of it, while the Arabs are not agreeing upon this cause,” his eminence noted.
He said that the occupation has been building settlements and trying to force the Palestinians out of their land.
“One of the causes of the poverty among the Palestinians is the racial wall which the Zionist have built, while the Arabs are sinking in the quagmire of their divisions and disagreements,” his eminence added.

ZIONIST ENTITY AND IRAN THREAT
al-quds day ceremonyTalking about the changes within the region, Sayyed Nasrallah said that the Israeli enemy was first concerned over the revolutions across the Arab world, but then, when the crisis started in Syria, the Zionist entity was more comfortable, his eminence said further. “During the last two years, when the Arab world witnessed several changes, the Israeli enemy was concerned and they considered that the strategic danger on them was high.”
“Following these events, the Israeli enemy is standing aside, looking forward to developments with delight,” Sayyed Nasrallah added, noting that there are some sides who are exploiting Iran’s stance over the Syrian crisis in order “to create enmity between the Arab countries and the Islamic Republic.”
Hezbollah S.G. also tackled the recent threats by the Zionist entity over a strike against the Islamic Republic.
“In the last months the Israeli staged unprecedented escalation towards Iran, Syria or even Lebanon. This escalation is built on the last developments taking place in the region.”
Sayyed Nasrallah said that Israel’s problem with Iran is that the Islamic republic is committed to the Palestinian cause and al-Quds.
“The Zionist entity is mulling Iran attack and there is disagreement between the military institutions and the political ones. The base of this disagreement is not moral, but it’s over the utility of this military action and the price which Israel would pay,” his eminence noted.
“Why Israel is mulling the attack?” resistance leader wondered, adding: “If Iran was weak or coward the Zionist entity would not hesitate to attack the Islamic Republic.”
“Based on information and not analysis Iran’s response to any Israeli attack would be stunning and very powerful,” Sayyed Nasrallah said adding that the Israeli attack on Iran would be “the golden chance that the Islamic Republic has been waiting for years.”

“ABLE TO CHANGE ISRAEL’S PHASE”
On the Israeli threats against Lebanon, the resistance leader was clear: the resistance can reach any target in the occupied territories and is able to change the phase of Israel.
“We can turn the lives of millions of Zionists to a real hell and we can change the phase of Israel,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
“I say to enemy: the war against Lebanon is very, very, very… expensive!”
His eminence talked about very advanced missiles the resistance owns, saying they are capable to hit very accurate targets in the occupied territories.
“There are targets in the occupied territories which we can target by small number of accurate missiles, and these missiles can turn the Zionists’ lives into hell and can claim the lives of tens of thousands,” Sayyed Nasrallah said.
“In the year of 2006 there were two idiots (Olmert and Peretz) who committed an idiocy, bringing a huge defeat for Israel. And today I say to the Zionists that you have two other idiots: Netanyahu and Barak and if they committed an idiocy especially concerning Iran attack then it would be the end of Israel.”
Hezbollah leader said the resistance has enough courage and ability in order to defend Lebanon, adding: “when our country is attacked we won’t wait for a permission to defend it.”

OIC MEETING
Sayyed Nasrallah also tackled Mecca summit which took place two days ago. His eminence considered that there were some positive points which were announced at the end of the summit which was called by the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Sayyed Nasrallah welcomed the announcement of establishing a center for dialogue between Islamic sects. However his eminence said that the first step for this dialogue to succeed is to stop the accusations of unbelief by some sects to others, noting that the Saudi Arabia should stop funding some satellite channels.
Hezbollah S.G. also criticized the final statement of the summit, saying it talked a little bit about Palestine.
“If any Israeli read this statement he will say that if the Palestinian cause was put down then there is no an Islamic world to defend it.”
“To Palestinians I say that betting on the Arab regimes is fruitless,” his eminence said.
He noted that what has been going on in Syria is aimed at weakening Palestine.
“We voice concern over Palestine and Gaza strip. Regarding what’s going on in the region, especially in Syria, some Arabs are trying to crush Syria in order to weaken Palestine. When we take stance on Syria, we take it in consideration with the Palestinian cause.”
Sayyed Nasrallah said that Syria should have been invited for the OIC meeting.
“If the Arab leaders were responsible then they have should invited Syria to the summit and discuss all issues.”

“CATASTROPHIC PERFORMANCE OF  MEDIA”
On the issue of the abducted Lebanese pilgrims, Sayyed  Nasrallah said that at the first Hezbollah decided not to talk in the case and  to let the Lebanese authorities do their duty.
“However after months on the abduction, the pilgrims are not released and the  issue becomes over control.”
His eminence slammed the media’s performance  regarding the issue of the abductees, saying it was “catastrophic.”
“Due to this political and media performance the issue is now over control an  Hezbollah along with Amal movement can’t control the reaction of  people.”
“The case of the abductees becomes a humanitarian one. It also  becomes a political and media farce.”

Last month, the European Union turned down Israeli request to declare Lebanese Islamic Resistance group Hizbullah “a terrorist organization”.
“There is no consensus for putting Hezbollah on the list of terrorist organisations,” said Cypriot Foreign Minister Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis, whose country currently holds the rotating EU presidency.
As a result, some paranoid Zionist idiot by the name Nicholas Kulish whined atThe New York Times (August 15, 2012) that thousands of Hizbullah members and supporters in Europe raise money that is funneled to the leadership in Lebanon. However, he did not mentioned if the the amount funneled to Hizbullah leadership is greater than US$6-14 billion funneled to Israel each year by the US government, Israeli lobby groups and Israel’s supporters.
Nicholas Kulish also claim that had EU declared Hizbullah a terrorist organization, it would have “destroyed Hizbullah”. In other words what 30,000-strong Jewish army could not achieve during the 34-day war in 2006 – EU’s declaration would have done it. First of all, Hizbullah doesn’t receive money from EU but Israel does. Furthermore, Hizbullah’ main backer, Iran is under EU’s several‘Crippling Sanctions‘. To prove his case against Hizbullah, Nicholas Kulish, quoted several sources from the US State Department and European think tanks – all Zionist Jew individuals.
The EU is not an ‘honest broker’ when it comes to Israel-Arab conflicts. Most of the EU countries are ruled by Zionist-controlled politicians who would rather let Arabs pay for the Europeans’ past crimes against Jewish communities which were expelled 108 times from European countries. Furthermore, several polls had proved that a great majority of Europeans still don’t trust Jews – and therefore, they would not accept Israeli Jews back.
A 2003 poll conducted by Taylor Nelson Sofres/ EOS Gallup Europe in October 2003 among 15 EU countries showed that 57% of participants considered Israel to be the greatest threat to world peace. Early this year, Israel lobby group, Anti-Defamation League (ADL) released the results of its survey among EU countries. It showed that great majority of participants considered Jews more loyal to Israel than the countries they live in. Hungary (63%) topped hatred toward Jews and Israel followed by Spain (53%), Poland (48%), France (45%), Austria (28%), Germany (21%) and UK (10%) among the ten EU countries polled. A 2011 survey conducted among eight European Union (EU) nations by Friedrich-Ebert Stiftung, a prestigious Berlin-based think tank, associated with German Opposition Social Democratic Party (SDP), had found that 72.2% of Polish people believed that “Jews try to take advantage of having been victims during the Nazi era”. 68.1% Hungarians and 49.8% German participants agreed with Polish view.
On August 14, Hizbullah members and supporters celebrated the ‘Victory Day’. The event signifies Hizbullah victory over Israelin Summer 2006. It was the 5th Israeli war on Lebanon. Since then the Zionist entity did not attack Lebanon. The Resistance won for the second time. Hizbullah is not just a Shia resistance group as the western and Salafi-Wahabi propagandists like people to believe. In reality, Hizbullah, is a national resistance movement which have members and supporters from all sectors of Lebanese population, Shias, Sunnies, Christians and even atheist Ba’athists.
Franklin LambIn November 2010 – Dr. Franklin Lamb wrote that Israel doesn’t know how to defeat Hizbullah.
”The skills that Hizbollah fighters used to force repeated errors by Israeli forces during the July 2006 war, and although not widely reported, during its 18 years of occupation of Lebanon (1982-2000). Errors, that the Israeli Winograd commission called “ the worst kind of mistakes and failures of the ground forces.” Among the examples  still discussed in Dahiyeh, and presumably in Tel Aviv and Washington, include  the Hizbollah forces routing of the Israeli  “elite” Golani, Egoz and Magland Brigades at Maron al Ras on the Lebanese-Palestine border between July 25-30, 2006,” wrote Dr. Lamb.
“Increasingly during the 33 day July 2006 War, Israeli forces refused orders to advance against Hezbollah fighters, happily opting for 14 day jail sentences for failure to obey orders.  Concerning IDF recruitment and  AWOL problems, according to IDF Captain Arye Shalicar of the IDF Recruitment Fraud unit, it is US taxpayers who  foot the bill  for eight companies of private investigators recently hired to track down Israeli draft dodgers.  The popular social networking site, Facebook,  is being used  to track down thousands who lied about being religiously observant and seeking to avoid facing Hezbollah,” added Dr. Lamb.
“Hizbollah, has smashed the myth of Israel’s invincibility, broken the barrier of fear, increased the popular demand for resistance, exposed the fake peace process and rejected appeasement, acquiescence and surrender. Hezbollah forces taught the world that Arabs can and will liberate Palestine because  they possess the qualities and acumen to do it. The kings and the presidents in the region, who for six decades chose their thrones over Jerusalem  quake as does Israel,” says Dr. Lamb.

Spoiling for Another Lebanon War

by Stephen Lendman

Lebanon has the misfortune of bordering Israel. The IDF attacked its northern neighbor in 1978, 1982, 1996, and 2006. More on the most recent war below.
Israel still illegally occupies Sheba Farms and Ghajar Lebanese territory.
Since at least the 1960s, it conducted repeated violations of its territory. Its warplanes overfly Lebanon provocatively. It committed thousands of terrorist attacks. It remains unaccountable for all of them.
Hezbollah was born out of Israel’s 1982 war. It’s a legitimate part of Lebanon’s government. It’s not a terrorist organization. It’s repeatedly accused of attacks it didn’t commit. The July 19 Bulgarian false flag is the latest. More on the aftermath below.
Hezbollah threatens no one. It’s fully prepared and committed to defend itself and its territory if attacked. International law supports it. In contrast, Israel is a serial war criminal. It’s a regional menace. Its nuclear, chemical and biological arsenals threaten humanity.
In July 2006, Israel committed naked aggression. Lebanon was preemptively attacked. Thinly veiled pretexts were used as justification. Israel lies about all its belligerence.
Crimes of war and against humanity were committed. Doing so is official Israeli policy.
Against Lebanon, Israeli strategy revealed its “Dahiya Doctrine.” Named after the destroyed Beirut suburb, it’s how all Israeli wars are waged.
Collective punishment/disproportionate force against civilians and non-military infrastructure is policy. Israel’s 2006 blitzkrieg killed over 1,000, injured thousands more, and displaced one-fourth of Lebanon’s four million people.
Beirut, Tyre, Sidon, and other Lebanon cities and towns were attacked. Targets destroyed or damaged included major ports, Beirut International Airport, 70 bridges, dozens of key roads, electrical power plants, gas and fuel stations, factories, schools, radio and TV stations, mosques, churches, hospitals, dams, civil defense centers, Sidon’s refugee camp, an orphanage, and civilian neighborhoods.
Jiyeh’s utility plant south of Beirut was also struck. Doing so caused a massive oil spill. It affected over 90 miles of coastal waters. It threatened biodiversity and heightened the risk of cancer for many thousands of Lebanese.
A land, sea and air siege was imposed. Illegal weapons were used. They included depleted uranium, chemical agents, white phosphorous bombs and shells that burns flesh to the bone, and so-called thermobaric bombs.
They contain polymer-bonded or solid fuel-air explosives. They’re able to penetrate buildings, underground shelters and tunnels. Its blast pressure sucks oxygen out of affected areas and people in them. It’s a terror weapon designed to kill and destroy horrifically.
On July 19, a bus carrying Israeli tourists and others was attacked. Eight deaths were reported. Israel spuriously blamed Hezbollah and Iran.
The New York Times regurgitated baseless Israeli/US accusations saying “American officials on Thursdayidentified the suicide bomber responsible for a deadly attack on Israeli vacationers here as a member of a Hezbollah cell that was operating in Bulgaria and looking for such targets, corroborating Israel’s assertions and making the bombing a new source of tension with Iran.”
An unnamed “senior American official” said “the bomber ‘act(ed) under broad guidance’ to hit Israeli targets whenopportunities presented themselves….”
Two other unnamed US officials blamed Hezbollah. They called Iran “its primary sponsor.” They claimed the motive was in retaliation for assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists.
As always when these type accusations are made, no evidence whatever is cited. Charges without clear corroboration are baseless. The identity of a so-called bomber remains unknown.
Clearly one or more bombs exploded. Whether suicide was involved remains pure speculation. Most likely a Mossad operative safely distant from its detonation bore responsibility.
Hezbollah and Iran categorically denied involvement. Repeatedly they’ve said they don’t target civilians. They respond only when militarily attacked. International law permits it.
On July 19, Press TV said Tehran’s Sofia embassy dismissed spurious Israeli/US charges, saying:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran regards terrorism as an anti-human phenomenon and condemns acts of terror by whomever, for whatever purposes and deems it unacceptable.”
“The baseless remarks by the Israeli regime’s officials and the accusations against Iran regarding its alleged participation in the bus explosion are a known Israeli approach with political purposes, which shows the desperation of the accusers.”
Iran and Bulgaria maintain friendly relations was explained, adding:
“The enemies’ threadbare plots will never damage the strong cordial relations between Tehran and Sofia.”
On July 19, Bulgaria’s Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov called it “wrong and a mistake to point fingers at this stage of the investigation at any country and organization.”
It’s “wrong to jump to conclusions….At this stage,” very little is known, he added.
The Bulgarian false flag bears classic Mossad fingerprints. Car bombs are a favorite tactic. Netanyahu adds more lawlessness to his criminal legacy. He deflected attention saying:
“We will pursue the attackers and extract a heavy price from those who sent them. We will continue fighting Iranian terror, we will act against it with great force.”
“For over a year, Iran, along with its protege Hezbollah, has been waging an international terror campaign. (It’s) the world’s number one exporter of terror (along with its) Hezbollah ‘long arm.’ ”
“A terrorist state must not have a nuclear weapon,” he added.
Israeli officials spuriously claim the Iranian Quds Force and Hezbollah conduct numerous terrorist attacks. An unnamed Israeli official said “(t)hey work together when necessary and separately” otherwise.
He added that he couldn’t confirm if an alleged bomber intended to blow himself up or if he suffered a “work accident.” We’ll never know, he added. Conveniently that leaves a crime without an identifiable suspect by name.
Bulgarian authorities are trying to blame someone. They’re working with Israeli, US and Interpol operatives. DNA was taken from an alleged bomber. How he was selected remains unknown. Everyone on the bus looked like tourists.
The suspect wore plaid shorts, an Adidas T-shirt, and a baseball cap. Allegedly he had a fake driver’s license. Who can know what’s true and what’s not.
On July 19, Haaretz headlined “Netanyahu wants to turn the Israeli intelligence failure over Bulgaria into an excuse to strike Iran,” saying:
Before the dust settled in Bulgaria, he said “all signs lead to Iran.” Without proof, no suspect exists. Nonetheless, “Netanyahu and Barak are eager to deploy IDF forces on an attack mission targeting facilities in Iran.”
“They lack a convincing excuse,” and Obama is preoccupied until after November elections.
Israel also wants revenge for Hezbollah’s effectiveness in 2006. It embarrassed the vaunted IDF. It proved a formidable adversary no matter how much death and destruction it inflicted.
It’s likely better equipped, armed, and ready now than then. Nonetheless, Israel likely wants a longstanding grievance resolved.
It also covets Lebanon’s 20-mile stretch from its border to the Litani River. At issue are considerable water resources and offshore oil and gas.
The Tamar and Leviathan gas fields contain an estimated 25 trillion cubic feet supply as well as four billion or more barrels of oil. A prize this great exceeds any revenge benefit, but in a nation addicted to militarism and belligerence, both issues matter.
Official reports leave another issue unaddressed. Israel faces internal unrest. Most Israelis have longstanding social injustice grievances. Nationwide protests persist. People demand relief from unaffordable housing prices and eroding benefits.
Promises made were broken. Public rage grows. What better way to diffuse it than by hyping an alleged terrorist threat.
Expect a continued drumbeat to heighten fear, blame Iran and Hezbollah, and perhaps use the Bulgarian incident to attack Lebanon ahead of a possible war on Iran.
Who can know for sure what Israel plans. Given its history, anything is possible.

Hezbollah has big surprise waiting for you Israel!

Hezbollah is preparing ‘a big surprise’ for

Israel, Nasrallah says

—————

 The Editor World News Tomorrow

—————–
WORLD NEWS TOMORROW | WNT NEWS-In speech to supporters, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah reveals Syria has armed his organization and other terrorist groups in Gaza with long-range missiles • “Israel can be happy” about suicide bombing in Damascus that killed top Syrian defense officials, Nasrallah says • World leaders warn Syrian crisis is “rapidly spinning out of control,” express concern over chemical weapons
Hezbollah is preparing a “big surprise” for Israel, the Shiite organization’s secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah, said on Wednesday in a speech marking the sixth anniversary of the Second Lebanon War.
During the speech, delivered via video feed to a crowd of Hezbollah supporters in Beirut, Nasrallah proudly revealed that Syria had been arming Hezbollah, as well as groups in the Gaza Strip, with long-range missiles capable of reaching all of central Israel, including Tel Aviv.
“Syria is a big problem for the Americans and Israelis because Syria is the real supporter for the resistance and especially at the military level,” Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Manar television quoted Nasrallah as saying. “Syria was not only a passageway for the resistance, but also a real military supporter of the resistance. For example, the most important missiles that fell on Haifa and central Israel [during the Second Lebanon War] were Syrian-made missiles.”
The Hezbollah leader also said Syrian weapons were being used by Gaza terrorists against Israel. “The most important weapons we fought with during the July war were from Syria, not only in Lebanon but also in the Gaza Strip. The missiles delivered to Gaza managed to force more than a million settlers to stay in bunkers and frightened Tel Aviv. When the Arab regimes were barring bread and money from entering Gaza, Syria was sending weapons along with food to Gaza.”
“We know that the enemy is working night and day to gather information about our rocket launchers and I call on them to draw conclusions from their mistakes. We know what your [Israel] first strike will be and we promise you a big surprise, and of course I want the Lebanese people and all the peoples to be very confident in the resistance’s capabilities and to know that in this region we have the heart and will to organize, manage, fight and eventually win,” Nasrallah said.
“Our fate is not defeat and failure like most Arab rulers claim. We will prevail. Just as we achieved the great victories in 2000 and 2006, we are capable of achieving a greater victory in any coming war. This is the message of the July war.” Nasrallah promised a “big surprise” in any future war with Israel.
The Hezbollah leader did not comment on Wednesday’s terror attack against Israeli tourists in the Bulgarian city of Burgas, which Israel believes Hezbollah may be responsible for, instead focusing on the suicide bombing in Damascus earlier in the day which left three members of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s inner circle dead, including the Syrian defense minister and Assad’s brother-in-law, the deputy defense minister.
Nasrallah said the Syrian bombing victims were “comrades” in the struggle against Israel.
“We reiterate our call for preserving Syria and the only solution is accepting dialogue. As we feel the loss of today’s martyrs, we extend our condolences to their families and to the Syrian leadership. These martyr leaders were comrades-in-arms in the conflict with the Israeli enemy and we are confident that the Arab Syrian Army, which overcame the unbearable, will be able persist and crush the hopes of the enemies,” he said.
“Israel has every right to be happy. Israel can be happy because pillars in the Syrian army today were targeted and killed.”
Meanwhile, U.S. Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said Wednesday that the Damascus bombing demonstrated that Syria’s crisis was “rapidly spinning out of control.”
“It is extremely important that the international community, working with other countries that have concerns in that area … bring maximum pressure on Assad to do what’s right, to step down and to allow for that peaceful transition,” Panetta said. “The violence there has only gotten worse and the loss of lives has only increased, which tells us that this is a situation that is rapidly spinning out of control.”
Panetta said this was all the more reason for the international community to bring “maximum pressure” on Assad to step down and permit a stable transfer of power.
King Abdullah of Jordan warned that Syria was on the brink of a full-fledged civil war and that chemical weapons could end up in the hands of al-Qaida terrorists, French news agency AFP reported.
The Jordanian king told CNN that the bombing was a “tremendous blow” to Assad but not the final one for the regime, which was determined to stay in power.
“This was a tremendous blow to the regime but again, Damascus has shown its resilience, so I think maybe we need to keep this in perspective,” King Abdullah told CNN. “Although this is a blow, I’m sure the regime will continue to show fortitude at least in the near future.”
He cautioned that the threat of civil war in Syria was growing. “If it breaks down, if civil order breaks down to the point of no return, it will take years to fix Syria. I have a feeling we’re seeing the signs of that. The only people that can bring us back from that brink is the president and the regime. This is the last chance they have.”
He also expressed concern over Syria’s chemical weapons stockpile.
“Our information is that there is a presence of al-Qaida in certain regions inside Syria, and has been there for a while,” he told CNN. “One of the worst-case scenarios, as we are trying to look for political solutions, would be if some of those chemical stockpiles would fall into unfriendly hands.”
French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius also commented on the bombing Wednesday saying, “This act is of great importance … Given this degree of violence, it means that it is necessary and urgent to find a political transition that allows the Syrian people to have a government that expresses its aspirations.”
He said France would continue to push for this at the U.N. Security Council, which was due to vote on a resolution to impose harsher sanctions on Syria on Thursday.
British Foreign Minister William Hague echoed his French counterpart, condemning the suicide attack and saying that “all such events increase the arguments for a strong and decisive resolution from the United Nations.”
“I think it is clear that situation is deteriorating rapidly,” he said during an official visit to Lithuania. Syria was threatened with “chaos and collapse,” he said, urging Russia and China to support a stronger resolution in the U.N. Security Council.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel made similar comments, saying in Berlin: “This shows us that it is high time to ratify the next U.N. resolution.”
“My plea to all members of the U.N. Security council is to agree on a common resolution,” she said, adding that only this could help bring an end to massive human rights abuses in a country shaken by civil war.
“The peace plan proposed by Kofi Annan is the best foundation for the political transition process in Syria. It needs more support and thus credibility from all sides. We must punish violations with sanctions from the international community,” Merkel said.
Conversely, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, “The battle for the capital, the decisive fight [is underway in Syria],” and warned that passing U.N. Security Council sanctions against the country would amount to direct support for rebels and could draw the country into civil war.
“Adopting a resolution against this backdrop would amount to a direct support for the revolutionary movement. If we are talking about a revolution then the U.N. Security Council has no place in this.”
Assad would not freely cede power, Lavrov said. “Instead of calming the opposition, some partners are fostering a further escalation,” he said. “It is a dead-end policy to support the opposition. Assad will not go on his own and our Western partners don’t know what to do about that.”
With violence rising, the West wants Moscow to drop its support for Assad. Along with China, Moscow has repeatedly vetoed action against the Syrian president at the U.N. Security Council.
Lavrov signaled no change in Moscow’s position ahead of a meeting with Annan in Moscow on Tuesday.
