What Really Happened - Waking up to the truth
Uroko is the Japanese word for ‘scale’, as in the scale of a fish or serpent. The Japanese expression “uroko ga me kara ochiru”, or, “scales fall from one’s eyes” is the English equivalent of “waking up to the truth”.Uroko is an attempt to strip away the fairy tales we have been told since birth, exposing the true nature of the world we live in.
Uroko discusses the Federal Reserve System, WWI and its true causes, the true nature of the tax-exempt foundations, the forming of the Central Intelligence Agency, Bolshevik Revolution and the militarization of Japan, Dutch and British East India Companies, Freemasonry, Templar Knights, etc.

Gaza We Are Coming
Gaza We Are Coming is a documentary describing the maritime mission that successfully broke the Israeli blockade.Israel’s attack on a flotilla of aid ships sailing for Gaza has once more put the spotlight on the Israeli blockade of the Strip.
But, activists did manage to break the Israeli blockade. In August 2008, two wooden Greek ships laden with 44 activists from 17 different countries managed something no other vessel had in 41 years and broke the marine blockade that Israel has unilaterally imposed in Gaza, in contravention of international law.
The mission was the brainchild of the Free Gaza Movement, founded in 2006, who realised that the only realistic way of breaking through the blockade was via the sea.

Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land
Peace, Propaganda and the Promised Land: U.S. Media & the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
“Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land” provides a striking comparison of U.S. and international media coverage of the crisis in the Middle East, zeroing in on how structural distortions in U.S. coverage have reinforced false perceptions of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This pivotal documentary exposes how the foreign policy interests of American political elites--oil, and a need to have a secure military base in the region, among others--work in combination with Israeli public relations strategies to exercise a powerful influence over how news from the region is reported.Through the voices of scholars, media critics, peace activists, religious figures, and Middle East experts, “Peace, Propaganda & the Promised Land” carefully analyzes and explains how--through the use of language, framing and context--the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza remains hidden in the news media, and Israeli colonization of the occupied territories appears to be a defensive move rather than an offensive one. The documentary also explores the ways that U.S. journalists, for reasons ranging from intimidation to a lack of thorough investigation, have become complicit in carrying out Israel's PR campaign. At its core, the documentary raises questions about the ethics and role of journalism, and the relationship between media and politics.

Politicians? Utterly corrupt on both sides.
The economy? Overwhelmed with speculative debt.
Obama? A well-spoken version of George Bush.

The only groups that seems to wield any meaningful power today are...the banks.

Some really great places to watch documentaries online for FREE
I really love watching documentary movies. Whether it’s a new Michael Moore movie, some 9/11 conspiracy, arrest of legendary drug cartel, life of Che Guevara, Iraq war, origins of Palestine/Israel conflict …. , most of the professionally made documentaries are quite interesting and educational. If you share this passion, here are some resources to watch documentary movies online.
Blog Leak discloses tons of videos and documentaries on all kinds of subjects they can be found here
Blog Leak discloses tons of videos and documentaries on all kinds of subjects they can be found here
1. PBS Frontline
PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) Frontline known for producing in-depth lengthy documentaries on various popular issues, leading to numerous awards (see more in Wikipedia). There are over 60 high quality documentaires on their website, with each documnetary available in different formats.
2. Surfthechannel
Other than a documentary source, Surfethechannel is more known as a TVShow and movie streaming website. Possibly the only website that was able to cope with the Stage6 shut down. The website has an impressive Documentary section. There are almost 1800 documentaries there. For avid documentary fans there is also a latest additions feed that lets you stay on top of all recent additions from the feedreader. The only drawback, there is no other way to navigate/sort documentary videos but alphabetically. The other similar but slightly smaller services are QuickSilverScreen (QSS) and Alluc.
3. Free Documentaries / Bodocus / Docuworld
These 3 websites aggregate documentary videos from Google Video and nicely organize them into categories i.e. politics, health, history, religion, business etc. FreeDocumentaries also sorts videos by region (Africa, Middle East, Russia, Europe etc.). Check out websites @ FreeDocumentaries, Bodocus and Docuworld.
4. Miro
[Update] Sorry folks, I completely forgot to include Miro in the original list.
Miro (formerly Democray Player) is an all-in-one video player where you can navigate though and subscribe to over 1500 web shows, documentary channels and podacsts. Channels include TED Talks, Frontline/World, NOVA etc. mostly in HD content. Simply choose the channels you like, hit suscribe button and Miro will download new episodes as soon as they are out. You can also browse and watch existing content as well.
5. Joost
I am not really a fan of Joost and never use it to watch documentaries, but what it has is the quality. Most of the videos you get here are in fairly good quality. At the moment there are 27 channels in documentary section (this may vary depending on your location).
6. OneBigTorrent
OneBigTorrent is the first place for quality documentary torrents. In their own words: “OneBigTorrent.org is a new place for sharing material that deals with or is relevant to issues of social justice, progressive and radical politics, independent media, ecology“.
Another good source for documentary movie torrents is MVGroup. The site is a forum and thus a bit hard to navigate, though it still has an active userbase.

Is a new blog that I have been working
on the past 2 days.It will be the new place
where I post videos, documentaries
on Palestine.
I am not surprised at some of the feedback I have received
in my journey of posting documentaries, films, & videos
on Palestine. A lot of people especially here in North America
really don't know that much about Palestine and believe
the Mainstream Media here who defend Israel.
People tend not to believe so much the articles and words people
write or say but with videos they see the crimes and Israeli atrocities
committed against the people of Palestine.
I have received much appreciation and feedback for not only posting
about Palestine but posting videos and more thus generating more
support for a just cause: and a different perspective far from the
North American Media is created.
So visit, bookmark, and let everyone know about
the Palestine Video Blog here
In another note you can also read books on this blog
by checking out Read The Book Link Section
on the right hand side of article postings.
Also there is a photo section at the bottom of the blog.
Much thanks to everyone The Video Blog will be linking too
in creating more awareness on the occupation of Palestine
and the struggle Palestinians face by Israel.
Some that deserve special mention include:

Taxi to the Dark Side Taxi to the Dark Side
Must Watch Award-Winning Documentary
The film documents how Rumsfeld, together with
the White House legal team, were able to convince
Congress to approve the use of torture against
prisoners of war. Taxi to the Dark Side is the
definitive exploration of the introduction of torture
as an interrogation technique in U.S. facilities, and
the role played by key figures of the Bush
Administration in the process.
Over one hundred prisoners have died in suspicious
circumstances in U.S. custody during the "war on terror".
Taxi to the Dark Side takes an in-depth look at one case:
an Afghan taxi driver called Dilawar who was considered
an honest and kind man by the people of his rustic village.
So when he was detained by the U.S military one afternoon,
after picking up three passengers, denizens wondered why
this man was randomly chosen to be held in prison, and,
especially, without trial?
Five days after his arrest Dilawar died in his Bagram prison cell.
His death came within a week of another death of a detainee at
Bagram. The conclusion, with autopsy evidence, was that
the former taxi driver and the detainee who passed away
before him, had died due to sustained injuries inflicted at
the prison by U.S. soldiers.
The documentary, by award-winning producer Alex Gibney,
carefully develops the last weeks of Dilawar’s life and shows
how decisions taken at the pinnacle of power in the Bush
Administration led directly to Dilawar’s brutal death.

'The War on Democracy'
'The War on Democracy' is John Pilger's first major film for the cinema -
in a career that has produced more than 55 television documentaries.
Set in Latin America and the US, it explores the historic and current relationship
of Washington with countries such as Venezuela, Bolivia and Chile.
"The film tells a universal story," says Pilger, "analysing and revealing,
through vivid testimony, the story of great power behind its venerable myths.
It allows us to understand the true nature of the so-called war on terror".
