The Assault on Gaza Intensifies Leading into Full Blown Massacre

A week in photos: Assault on Gaza intensifies

From the death of 12-year-old Hamid Younis Abu Daqqa, whose killing from Israeli gunfire
helped ignite the latest escalation, to demonstrations demanding an end to the violence,
Activestills presents a week in its Gaza coverage.

Funeral of Hamid Younis Abu Daqqa, shot the day before by the Israeli army with a machine gun
from an helicopter, in ‘Abassan al Kabira, east of Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip, November 9, 2012.
Hamid was killed in front of his home, which is located around 1 kilometer from the Border with
Israel. Constant shootings and attacks make it very dangerous for Palestinian to live near the
so-called no-go zone imposed unilaterally by the Israeli army. (photo by: Anne Paq/Activestills.org
