What Happened?

Just like so many

i came here for the American dream

i believed in liberty and democracy

the right of the individual and the will to be free



But the dream was a nightmare they didn't quite tell you the whole story

inside the gift-wrapping it was the ugly American hubris stock full of narcissism backed by the troops

a history bathed in blood and conquest

a history white washed clean and neat lauded for manifest destiny taught in the schools



You pledged an allegiance to a flag that was blood stained with the innocent Indians

you believed what they told you and you read in history books from the point of victory

but if you talked to the other side the story was upside down and not so one-sided

America was a boil with a band aid on it and it smelled...nasty



you thought you were free but you were caged and locked by the corporate entity who rules the media,government and the law

you thought you were brave but they made you fear every nation in the world who hated us and wanted us all dead and gone

and you learned that if they hated us it was usually for a good reason, our military over there killing,bribing,in cahoots with the corrupt for markets and sweet contracts that screwed over the people and the environment



So i took the red pill and jumped down the rabbit hole

i sneered at their flag,called their goose-steppingtroops war criminals and now they want me ostracised

i am out cast as a stranger in a strange land

in this society of self indulgent materialistic addicted morons i am ashamed and sick to death of



They wave flags that are stained of the crimes against humanity, over the cells of the untried and uncharged as screams ring out from the torture

they support fascism,tyranny,occupying foreign lands and send cookies to the troops

while they support its little brother in the middle east doing the same ugly thing





Its irony,hypocrisy and the ol' sleight of hand double standard coup

this war on terrorism committed by the greatest purveyor of violence and terrorism in the world today

fraud,deception,misinformation and pie in the sky innuendos are the products of this farce

and its all paid for by the debt laid on the children in so many ways



as we kill and murder all over the world but we are never allowed to see,hear, or know

over here its called a war on terror and its really us who are the terrorists

how we can so flippantly wave off the wrong we do with our american violence

as we shop and consume like stupid consuming cattle oblivious to to the crimes we commit overseas



And so many have come forward as great risk to themselves

to tell you the truth, to expose the lies

Folks like Mordechai Vanumu and Uri Blau and Anat Kamm

soldiers who wrote the Combatants Letter

B'stelem and the Jewish Voice of Peace all you should honor and support



You need to be brave

You need to be free

Stand up for your moral beliefs and dissent from the bull they swill at you

Shout out loud for right and justice,empathy and compassion



For if we are ruled under law

the law can only be true if all are below and obey

and that means one and all,nations and societies

if not then it is simple anarchy
