Israeli warplanes renew shelling of border area

RAFAH, (PIC)- Israeli warplanes fired a number of missiles on the Egyptian-Palestinian borders south of Rafah to the southernmost tip of the Gaza Strip at dawn Thursday but no casualties were reported so far.

Local sources told the PIC reporter that Israeli F-16s raided the tunnels area firing four rockets and causing big material damage.

A similar raid on Wednesday killed two Palestinians and injured 13 others, who were retrieved from the collapsed tunnels.

In the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces rounded up ten Palestinians at dawn Thursday in the districts of Qalqilia, Al-Khalil and Jericho.
