Sheikh Sabri's edict published by Quds Press on Saturday said that a substitute homeland means surrendering the holy land of Palestine and the exchange of land is a kind of surrender, which is religiously forbidden especially regarding the land of Palestine, which is an Islamic Wakf land that could not be surrendered or bartered.

He further explained that countries could not be negotiated, exchanged or surrendered, adding that Palestine the land of Isra' is only for Muslims.

The Sheikh included verses of the holy Quran to confirm his edict, and concluded saying that no Muslim on the land of Palestine would ever accept an alternate homeland.
