Israeli forces storm refugee camp, induce terror among residents

ImageRamallah / PNN - Israeli forces hit Ramallah City and Jalzone Refugee Camp at dawn Friday.

In the camp Israeli soldiers stormed sleeping homes, launched invasive searches and ultimately took 13 people to unknown locations, bound and blindfolded in the back of military jeeps.

Eyewitnesses in Jalzone Refugee Camp reported that the invasion began at 5:00 am Friday with the sound of a barrage of gunfire. The 13 arrested are all groups of brothers including five from a single family, three from the Sharif family and two from the Zubaydah family.

Palestinian security sources reported that Israeli forces deliberately blew open the doors of several homes simultaneously in order to induce panic among residents, including the small children. The bullets whizzing past along with the multiple explosion did just that: created a sense of utter chaos and terror among the residents of this central West Bank refugee camp.

In other parts of the West Bank during pre-dawn raids Israeli forces arrested an additional seven Palestinians.
