Israeli war minister Ehud Barak has
vowed to continue raids against the
Gaza Strip despite civilian deaths from
Israeli attacks.
(notice again he said holocaust!)
Barak declared on Monday
that Israeli military forces "is
acting and willcontinue to act
against Hamas, within the Gaza Strip."
Barak claimed that Hamas "is responsible for everything that
happens in the area around Gaza". This response has many in
the world saying that normal citizens should not be suffering in
Gaza because Israel can't work with Hamas who was
democratically elected.
Time to end the collective punishment against Gaza!
Israel has formerly declined to accept the conditions set for a
ceasefire between Hamas and the regime, accusing the resistance
movement of playing for time.
Hamas, however, says any truce agreement should include the
West Bank as well as the Gaza Strip. It also demands that the
blockade on the costal strip be lifted.
