GAZA, (PIC)- The IOF troops killed Tuesday evening seven Palestinian policemen affiliated with the Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and wounded four others after they fired a ground-to-ground missile at their position in the Khan Younis city, southern Gaza Strip. Palestinian local sources told the PIC reporter that the Israeli missile targeted the policemen while they were praying at a small mosque in a site belonging to the anti-riot and intervention forces in Khan Younis. For his part, Ehab Al-Ghusein, the spokesman for the interior ministry in Gaza, stated that the Israeli occupation is trying through its attacks on the ministry's (and police) headquarters to send a message to the effect that the security apparatuses in Gaza should be collaborating with Israel in maintaining its security and eliminating the legitimate Palestinian resistance. In another development, Israeli gunboats seriously wounded Tuesday evening four marine policemen after they opened heavy machinegun fire at a site belonging to the marine police located to the west of the Rafah city, northern Gaza Strip. The injuries were rushed to the Abu Yousef Al-Najar hospital in the city. |
