On Saturday, November 24 from 12:00 - 1:00 (pm) there will be a special segment
on CKLN 88.1 radio about the upcoming rally organized by Palestine solidarity organizations to denounce the Jewish National Funds’ annual Negev dinner,
which will be raising funds for Canada Park. This park is built on the
destroyed Palestinian villages of Beit Nuba, Yallu and Imwas. Please tune in to
CKLN 88.1fm on Saturday for a very informative hour about the history of the
Jewish National Fund and its role in promoting Israeli Apartheid. All details

Another very important event taking place on Wednesday, November 28 at Ryerson
University is the debate around the issue of academic boycott of Israeli
Apartheid. It is sponsored by the Ryerson President's Office and the Student
Union, and is the first of its kind in
Canada to be sponsored by a university administration. It will be moderated by
Suhana Meharchand from the CBC.
This event is open to the public. CAIA urges all supporters to get the word out
about this event and to take the time to attend. All details below.

The Ryerson University President's Office and the Ryerson Students' Union
invite you to a forum on academic boycott and academic freedom.
Student-led university academic boycotts were deployed trans-nationally in
resistance to South African apartheid. Today, the debate continues in response
to a statement by Sheldon Levy opposing a proposed boycott of Israeli
Universities. This forum will explore the role of academic boycotts as a tool
of resistance and their relationship to academic freedom.
