Harper - the Prime Minister of Canada Refuses to attend Medal of honour ceremony to honouring Hess-Von Kruedener Killed by Israel

Apparently, Stephen Harper has refused to attend the
Governor General's Medal of Valour ceremony honouring
Canadian officer Hess-von Kruedener who was killed by
Israel while serving as a UN observer in southern
Lebanon during the 2006 war. Harper has also
questioned the appropriateness of granting the medal.

If this is true, it is shocking and outrageous beyond
words. While Harper has repeatedly shown himself to
be subservient to the pro-Israel lobby, this is
utterly beyond the pale.
