Lebanese cleric slams Arabs concessions
A prominent Lebanese Shia cleric, Alim Allameh Fazlallah, says Arabs wish to end Palestine issue, but at highest possible loss cost.
At his first Friday Prayer sermon at Hasanain Mosque in southern Beirut, Fazlallah said, "Arabs are ready to give huge concessions to Israel, even if those concessions would lead to the completion of the Zionists' strategic objectives and ... full hegemony over the vastest possible lands in occupied Palestine."
Allameh Fazlallah condemned "the confiscation of new parts of Palestinians' lands and their annexation to the Zionist townships, as well as the lingering siege of Palestinian territories" for having led to "the full annihilation of the Palestinian Authority, of which the so-called Quartet Committee and the US President still speak."
He further criticized Washington's tyrannical policy to accuse "any country that is not in line with Washington's aggressive policies of supporting the international terrorism," IRNA reported.
"It is based on that mentality that the US Empire tries to impose its preconditions over the rest of the world and to complete imposing its hegemony globally."
Fazlallah said that the main objective behind the US invasion on Afghanistan, and later on in Iraq was to push forth its neocolonialist plans at entire region, and to annihilate all free nations.
