GAZA, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas chaired Wednesday night a meeting of the National Dialogue Committee, in presence of Prime Minister Ismael Haniyya.
Following the meeting in the Presidential HQ in Gaza, the Coordinator of the Higher Follow up Committee of National and Islamic Forces, Ibrahim Abu An-Naja told reporters that the National Dialogue Committee and the National Reconciliation Committee drafted two documents: the first was on the mechanism of implementing the National reconciliation Document, and the second was on the issues of controlling the internal situation.
He said that the meeting called upon the international community to intervene and to pressurise the Israeli Government for ending the military escalation in the Palestinian territories.
