Banned From Canada - Galloway speaks in Toronto via video

"Come out and debate with me like a man," British MP George Galloway told Canada's Immigration Minister Jason Kenney tonight via video link from New York, ridiculing the government for barring him from the country.

In a speech delivered live to more than 600 supporters in a downtown Toronto church, the outspoken Galloway called the ban on his presence over his support of Gaza's Hamas government - a decision upheld hours earlier by a Canadian judge - as "foolish and counterproductive."

Loud applause greeted his challenge to Kenney for a one-on-one debate: "Let's book the biggest hall in Canada," said Galloway, "and you and I will debate these issues of war and peace and freedom of speech and censorship.

"You won't be able to hide behind your spokesman. You won't be able to hide behind your immigration officials that can't speak up for themselves (or) behind the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. It will just be you and me and the Canadian public ....."

He continued, "It's just not credible, Mr. Kenney, to call a man touring the United States of America, playing to packed audiences ..... a terrorist or a security threat."

Earlier, Federal Court Justice Luc Martineau denied a bid for an emergency injunction that would have allowed the British politician to fulfill his Canadian speaking dates.

The Conservative government says regards Galloway as a security threat because he supports democratically elected governments like Hamas in Palestine.

In Monday night's speech, Galloway denied being a supporter of terrorists while criticizing the Conservative government's support of Israel and arguing a political solution with Palestinians is the only way to obtain Mideast peace.

"If we don't achieve a political settlement, we're in for war. If there's no justice, there will be no peace in Palestine."

Bernie Farber, chief executive officer of the Canadian Jewish Congress along with the Jewish Defence League praised Martineau's decision confirming what most already know : that the Canadian Government is a whore for Israel and there will be censorship and punishment for those that speak out against the Zionist agenda.

Galloway is a "well-respected British MP." and the whores in the Conservative Party and Liberal Party could learn a thing or two from him.

SPHR condemns terrorist attack at
Ryerson University in Toronto.

Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights with
its' 14 branches and affiliates across Canada, stand
shoulder to shoulder with our Black
brothers and sisters at Ryerson University who
have suffered from a terrorist attack on the offices
of the East African Students Group (EAST).

The arson attack targeted the bulletin board of
EAST witch carried posters and information against
Racisim, Islamophobia, and Military Occupation. This attack
follows the re-activation in Canada of the
Jewish Defense League (JDL),
the only Jewish group labeled by the FBI
as a "right-wing terrorist group."

On February 4th at Ryesron University during events
held by Black and Palestinian students,
around 50 JDL members harassed students attending
the lecture without police interference. This sent a message
to the JDL and other Jewish supremacist individuals that it
is acceptable to target visible minorities in our cities.
Furthermore, this decision by the Toronto
police to stand-by idly only emboldened those who
committed this terrorist action a week later.

The police are not alone in creating a climate of acceptance
around the JDL as several Jewish news agencies, including
the Canadian Jewish News, have touted the founder of the
Canadian JDL, Meir Weinstein, as a strong leader to be
respected and covered the racist harassment at
Ryerson U on the 4th as community empowerment.

On the US side of the border, the JDL was responsible
for many murders and arson attacks in the 1980s, leading
the FBI to label them "the second most active terrorist group
in the United States." In Canada after the tragic events of
September 11, 2001, the JDL Chairman,
Montreal born Irv Rubin, initiated a campaign of bomb
scares and death threats against students at Concordia
University who were critical of US and Israeli state policies.
At the time, Montreal Police also were
unconcerned by the JDL threat. Community
members were assured by Montreal police officers that
Ruben was only able to recruit 5 students at Concordia.
Of course it takes only one person to wreck
havoc upon innocents. A few months later Irv Rubin was
arrested by police in Florida preparing to bomb a host of
targets, including the largest Mosque in the USA and
Concordia University in Montreal.

We urge the Toronto Police force to take our
concerns seriously and investigate any links that could be
made between the attack on the East African Students group
and the reconstitution of the JDL in
Canada. Inaction on the part of the police will send the wrong
message to those who perpetrated this heinous act.

We also call on Jewish organizations to speak
loudly against Jewish supremacy, violence and terrorism
within their community. Setting a good example in tolerance
is the only way any community can isolate fanatics.

We finally call on all people to join
Ryerson students in solidarity
on Tuesday, February 26 at NOON
outside the Cafeteria at the
University to show our opposition to such acts.

The Jewish defence League of Canada is back again....

The Jewish Defence League of Canada is back – again. The on-again, off-again organization had 50 JDL members along with supporters from other Jewish organizations, had a vigil last week at Ryerson University to protest an Israel Apartheid Week (IAW) event.

JDL members handed out leaflets and attempted to turn the tables on IAW organizers, trying to make Israel look good. (No such luck the world already knows about the daily crimes of Israel going back more then 60 years. Calling Israel the Apartheid State is the nice way of calling it I have words worse then that!) .

In addition to protesting anti-Israel events – earlier, the group picketed outside the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) during an appearance by anti-Zionist speaker Norman Finkelstein – JDL monitors various organizations on the Internet and “we have moles in anti-Israeli groups to gather more information,” Weinstein said. loool if one of these moles is monitoring this blog, I got two words for ya - go fuck yourself along with the JDL.

The JDL seems to have a heart on for people to recognize Israel. believe me we all recognize that Israel is there, the Palestinians know and feel it only too well each and every day as the world watches on while the Israeli crimes committed against the people of Palestine. The world has been watching for the past 60 years as Israel tries and move the remaining Palestinians out or just kill them after they torture them and commit every other crime on the books against them. The question is when will the world wake up and shut down this monster called the state of Israel.

What does the JDL do defend Jews or defend Israel? If they are trying to defend Israel well sorry to say that's a lost cause if there was ever any. If they are defending Jews while they need to go join in with other groups and speak out against the murderous state of Israel.
