Players from Israel’s F.C. Ironi Ashdod
were run off the field in Bulgaria when a riot broke out Sunday.
Bulgarian fans rushed the field during a friendly against CSKA Sofia
after a hard tackle by an Ashdod player, which resulted in a red card.
According to Sports Illustrated, “One fan threw what appeared to be a glass bottle and hit an Ashdod player in the head.”
