University Students In Ontario Canada Do Not Want To Remain Complicit In Israeli War Crimes

Ontario university students' union joins BDS

The Canadian Federation of Student's Ontario branch decided to join the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) Movement against Israel in its annual general meeting.
The branch, which represents over 300,000 university students in the province of Ontario, has passed the decision unanimously, said executive member Anna Goldfinch.
The resolution "endorses a number of solidarity tactics that have been called for by Palestinian civil society," Goldfinch told theCanadian Press.
Rajean Hoilett, the president of the Ryerson Students' Union, which put the resolution forward, urged schools in the province to not "remain complicit" with "Israeli war crimes."
The students' union will hold several panels where students will be able to voice dissenting opinions.
