The War Around Us

It's been described as one of the most moving documentaries of our generation. Four years in the making, award-winning and critically acclaimed film 'The War Around Us' documents the journey of two journalists and friends who found themselves in the middle of a war where there was nowhere safe to go and no way out. Gripping from start to finish this is a story about journalism, friendship and how they survived 23 days of bombardment from the ground, sea and air.

In 2008, correspondent Ayman Mohyeldin and reporter Sherine Tadros were locked inside the Gaza Strip as Israel launched a war on the besieged territory. After Egypt and Israel sealed their borders with Gaza, there was no passage out for the 1.5 million Palestinians or these two broadcast journalists who were left as the only two foreign correspondents covering the war from the inside.

Award-winning director Abdallah Omeish uses never before seen footage filmed by the journalists themselves to tell their story of the war raging around them.

Now, this gripping documentary is available to buy on Blu-Ray and DVD. In addition, to purchasing the DVD, community theatrical screenings can be organized through the films direct website: www.thewararoundus.com

The Blu-Ray/DVD package contains never-before-seen bonus material and exclusive interviews with Ayman Mohyeldin and Sherine Tadros taken during and after the Gaza War.
