Media officer of Center for Palestinian Prisoners (CPP), Riad al-Ashqar said that CPP has been launched to serve to cause of the Palestinian and Arab detainees, held captive in the Israeli prisons.
Researchers and experts established the center to shed light on the prisoners' misery and to scandalize the Israeli practices, undertaken against them, said Emad al-Ashqar. CPP looks forward to gather regionally and internationally as many pro-Palestinian activists as it could be, al-Ashqar said. The CPP also aims at directing a mainstream opinion to press on Israel, added he.
CPP will launch a website to provide all people concerned with archived information. CPP will have a Facebook account and radio programmes, too.
The center will provide a full-time crew in both parts of the occupied Palestine, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
Riad al-Ashqar called on all journalists, researchers and people concerned to follow up the forthcoming website of the center, and to give support to people responsible for the center.
