The Hamilton Spectator poll on the visit to Hamilton of George Galloway was supposed to end last night but when the anti-free speech forces were gaining, the newspaper kept the poll up. It has been up and down for two days now. Right now, we are now down 49% to 51%.

 

Yellow journalism is the creation of sensational stories out of thin air to sell newspapers. And that has been the Spec’s tack in the Galloway event in Hamilton, trying to stir up controversy and inflame tensions between the free speech/anti-war/pro-Palestinian forces and the Zionists. According to the Spec articles, Israel is being “demonized” (as if the Israeli attacks on Gaza, the Freedom Flotilla, and Lebanon didn’t do that job). And, zionists on campus are bring “intimidated.”

 

Is this only in Hamilton or everywhere on the tour?
