Settlers vandalize a Palestinian school near Nablus

The warehouse of a Palestinian school near Nablus was set on fire this morning, where vandals left behind the message: "regards from the hills" in Hebrew. This seems to be the latest in a campaign that extremist settlers have called the "price tag" campaign. These settlers say this is their protest against moves by the Israeli government to freeze settlement construction or remove settlements. Palestinians say the settlers entered the village in the middle of the night and set fire to the warehouse of a girls school which stores sports equipment and furniture for the school. "It is inconceivable that Arabs build thousands of homes throughout Judea and Samaria, and the Jews, the true owners of the land of Israel, are expelled and frozen," said one Bat Ayin resident.
