Israeli forces raid al-Khalil mosque, more Palestinians kidnapped

Israeli soldiers try to force open a resident's house in al-Khalil.

Israeli army forces have stormed a mosque near the West Bank city of al-Khalil (Hebron), forcing Palestinians worshippers to leave the holy site.

The incident occurred late on Sunday when Israeli soldiers surrounded the al-Rihiya Mosque south of al-Khalil, Ma'an news agency reported.

Israeli forces reportedly ordered elderly residents to evacuate the facility, but faced resistance from the locals.

The soldiers used several Palestinians as human shields during confrontations with local youths, firing tear-gas, rubber-coated bullets, and live ammunition to disperse the protestors.

The Israeli forces who like to use the word arrested which really means kidnapped, did so and the where two Palestinians are remains a mystery. .
