Resistance Speaks Again & It's Going to Get Louder

Resistance Speaks Again: Israeli Officer, Soldier Killed
On the eve of the Arab Summit, Palestine had its message to the Arabs…
Just like every summit, the Arab leaders were preparing their “charming” speeches, tidying up to influence the “nation” and putting the “final touches” on their “emotional” words…

But, while they were preoccupied with their own “shows,” Palestine had once again its message to the Arabs, all the Arabs, the leaders and the bases…

Two martyrs fell on Friday, delivering to the whole nation the same message of the Palestinian suffering but also of the Palestinian heroism. Whether the message was reached or not is not the issue since the leaders will once again ignore the facts and resort to the words, the words that would never yield to the ultimate goal, to the liberation of the occupied Palestine…

On Friday, two Palestinians were martyred in clashes near the border fence around the Gaza Strip on Friday, Palestinian media reported. According to the reports, the two were injured from Israeli artillery near Khan Younis. It was also reported that heavy clashes and a powerful explosion took place in the area, and that Israeli helicopters were circling the area.

But the leaders have to take into consideration something else on the eve of the summit. Palestinians are suffering, that’s right. However, the heroic Resistance is here to change the balance. Indeed, also on Friday, an Israeli officer and another soldier were reportedly killed in confrontations with the Palestinian fighters as the Israeli army claimed obstructing an attempt to detain Israeli soldiers by the Palestinian Resistance.
The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing, claimed responsibility for the operation.
“An Israeli army force raided 500 meters (yards) into Palestinian territory, and was confronted by our fighters,” said Abu Obeida, spokesman for the Hamas armed wing. “This was our work, but was carried out for defense.”
Tensions have run high along the Gaza frontier this month, with Israel launching repeated air strikes against Palestinian civilians.

Israeli Tanks Pull Out of Gaza, Barak Warns Hamas of ‘Ramifications’
Israeli occupation tanks pulled out of central Gaza Saturday morning after infiltrating the Strip a day earlier. Five Israeli tanks and two armored bulldozers advanced from the east into Gaza following, firing shells at targets near the town of Khan Younis.

This came after Palestinian resistance fighters ambushed and exchange fire Friday with an occupation forces unit that crossed into Gaza near the Kissufim crossing near Gaza. The battle left an Israeli major and a soldier killed. According to the Israeli military, the officer was the regiment’s deputy commander.

Two more occupation soldiers were wounded in the battle, one of whom is listed in serious condition.
Hamas said its fighters fired on Israeli soldiers who crossed into the Gaza Strip. Two other groups, Islamic Jihad and al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, said their men also took part in the fighting.
The battle also left two Palestinian martyrs and another two wounded.

Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak on Friday warned Hamas that it would be held responsible for all actions perpetrated by resistance fighters “against Israel.”

“We have been used to seeing breakaway [Palestinian] groups doing the firing, and Hamas trying to calm things down. Possibly it is loosening its grip, for all sorts of reasons,” Barak told Channel 2 television.
“Should that indeed prove to be the case, then there will also be ramifications for Hamas,” Barak said.

Also Saturday, a Qassam rocket struck an open field in the Sha’ar Hanegev region. There was no reported damage or injuries.
