While it's true the exhibit is critical of Israel's 'foreign policy' and actions in Gaza, the exhibit is not remotely anti-semitic, and is therefore not in violation of the Canadian Charter.)

an email insisting that CJPME's Photo Exposition
Human Drama in Gaza, be immediately removed
from the Cinema. The email was from a legal
representative of Gestion Redbourne PDP Inc.,
the owners of the building housing Cinema du
Parc. The Cinema has hosted dozens of
expositions in the past three years, and
is the first time that such action has been taken.

Produced by CJPME, and funded through private
donations, the Montreal stop at Cinema du
Parc is the first in a series of cross-Canada
shows.The Montreal Exposition began on Friday, Jan. 15thAll the photos and captions used in the Exposition
and was originally scheduled to continue through

open from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays,
and from 3:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. on weekends.

Ce geste de la part de Redbourne semble tout à
fait politique et destiné à faire taire le message
de Drame humain à Gaza.

L'exposition photo de CJPMO Drame humain à
Gaza présente 44 photos, prises avant, pendant
et après les 22 jours de l'assaut contre Gaza
l'hiver dernier par des photographes
professionnels en provenance d'Israël, de la
Palestine et d'Occident. Produite par CJPMO
et entièrement financée par des dons privés,
la présentation de l'exposition au Cinéma
du Parc de Montréal est le premier arrêt d'une
tournée qui la mènera dans différentes villes
du Canada.
L'exposition a débuté à Montréal le vendredi
15 janvier et était initialement prévue
se tenir jusqu'au dimanche 28 février.
L'exposition est ouverte de 18h30 à 21h30 en
semaine et de 15h00 à 21h30 les fins de
semaine. Toutes les photos et légendes
utilisées dans l'exposition peuvent
être trouvées ici et une bande-annonce vidéo
introduisant l'exposition ici.
Le Cinéma du Parc a été un partenaire
extraordinaire dans l'organisation de
l'exposition à Montréal et défend sa position face
à l'action de Redbourne.
