A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM AUSTRALIA
TO ALL SUPPORTERS OF PALESTINE



Christmas 2009 should remind us that there is still so much work to be done
to free those who are suffering from human iniquities. Peace and good will
are noble pursuits, but only if the same effort is put into breaking down
the walls that are being deliberately erected to imprison and divide, to
suppress and suffocate, and to deny a people their right to live as we wish
to live our own lives.

Australians for Palestine and Women for Palestine thank everyone who has
contributed to those efforts throughout 2009 and we urge you to continue
raising awareness and providing a voice for the Palestinians in Gaza, the
West Bank, East Jerusalem, the refugee camps and also in Israel. Please
sign the petition for the Gaza Freedom March and also protest to the
Egyptian diplomatic missions to allow the march to enter Gaza through the
