I was surprised to learn than judge Goldstone (originally Goldstien) is on the board of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and has a fully-fledged Zionist daughter who is an Israeli citizen . Furthermore, Goldstone had apparently turned down the commission unless his brief would include scrutiny of Palestinian attacks on so-called Israeli civilian targets. What I find most surprising is that even the UN seems to be incapable of selecting someone with no Zionist connections to investigate Zionist crimes!
