In an appreciation of the solidarity work of international artists, Resistance Art is introducing a "World for Palestine " calendar series for international artists who are committed to the Palestinian struggle and social justice in the world.
I am happy to inform you that the 2010 “World for Palestine ” Calendar has already been posted on our website: www.resistanceart.com
We begin our "World for Palestine " series with a talented and gifted cartoonist from Brazil Carlos Latuff. Based in Rio de Janeiro , Brazil , Carlos has crafted a style that can be described as Political cartoonist with a unique courage that knows no compromise when it comes to supporting the struggle against oppression.
As the world watches Israel is imprisoning 1.5 million Palestinian in Gaza and denying them the most basic needs. We ask for your help to break the siege on Gaza and to support Gaza ’s young artists. This project is in support of Gaza ’s young artists. All proceeds from the sales will be donated to young artists in Gaza
