Nablus – Ma’an – Israeli army forces raided Awarta village south of Nablus early Wednesday and damaged three homes during a large-scale incursion into the area.
Head of Awarta local council Qays Awwad said more than twenty Israeli military vehicles entered the village after midnight, storming several homes. “Furniture and property was destroyed during the searches,” said Awwad, including some structural damage done my military vehicles.
The family homes of Sa’d Salim Awwad, 39, Abd Al-Qader Ahmad Ibrahim, 43, and Mahmoud Jabr Darawsheh, 37, were the three most severely damaged.
