Today most of the world population celebrates to receive 2009 to receive the New Year 2009 with joy and pleasure, everyone waiting for the New Year with hope to achieve all wishes in 2009. Many could not celebrate it even they could not think what to wish, because their wishes and hopes are one with no change every year since 60 year and we hope to achieve the dream of one people to establish an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital and to live in peace with our neighbors. Here we welcome the 61 year of the Israeli occupation of Palestine and more killing and violence killing hope from the hearts of our children who die every day, especially after the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the killing of 400 civilians so far.Gaza receives 2009 and its streets full of dead bodies, Gaza's children receive this year over the graves of their parents, the mothers in Gaza receive it with the tears of sorrow for the death of their children, the Arab nations receive the new year as Gaza and the Palestinian people is not part of the Arab world, the international community receives 2009 with Its justifies the actions of Israel against the Gaza Strip in self-defense, and the United State of America is busy dancing in the night's clubs on the sound of bombs and guns against Gaza
This is a world in which we live today, the world lacks humanity, a world differentiate between nation and another as if the world own by one person or the humans belongs to one, it just seems to have forgotten the human flesh and bones, and one day we will be in the soil of this world
Why is this silence in the world? Why children sleep without food, drink and shelter? Why the world awakes to news of death and war? Why they talk about world peace while their hand full of blood?
The World Forget that we are all brothers and we all have one God who rule us. The World forgot that the life is a fast journey. Why not to live in peace and love? Why do not we all live in one world, without distinction or discrimination?
I hope in this New Year, even I have pain in my heart that we will really achieve peace in this world and all people live with each other in love without distinction.
