Dear readers,
As we're sure you're aware, the situation in Gaza at present gets worse by
the day. The latest casualty count is over 730 people dead, thousands
injured, some 15,000 people have been dispalced, and the strip is on the
brink of total humanitarian collapse. Israel has bombed ambulances,
mosques, humanitarian convoys and UN shelters, entire families have been
massacred - the list of atrocitries goes on and on.
We understand many people are anxious to do something. The IPSC present a
list of ten things you can to take action. You can see the whole list
here: http://ipsc.ie/gaza_wycd.php
In addition, please keep an eye on the IPSC Events Calendar for upcoming
protests in your area - there are a lot of protests going on this week,
especially on Saturday, see here: http://ipsc.ie/events.php
We also urge you to call the Department of Foreign Affairs and demand the
explusion of the Israeli Ambassador and the recall of the Irish Ambassador
from Tel Aviv in protest at the Israeli slaughter in Gaza. Phone Number:
01 4780822
In Solidarity,
Kevin Squires
IPSC National Coordinator
