An Israeli F-16 warplane blasted a metal workshop east of Rafah city south of the Gaza Strip at an early hour on Thursday with at least one missile, local sources said. They told PIC reporter that the explosion greatly damaged the foundry owned by Joda family.
The raid followed threats by Israeli leaders to launch more aggression on the Strip and one day after a series of raids that targeted the Rafah border strip with Egypt coupled with an incursion in central Gaza.
The IOF command claimed that a Palestinian homemade missile was fired from Gaza at the settlement assembly of Eshkol adjacent to the south of the Strip.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation authority on Wednesday flattened a Palestinian apartment in occupied Jerusalem for the second time at the usual pretext of lack of construction permit.
The 100 square meters apartment is located in the third floor of a building in Silwan village south of the holy Aqsa Mosque.
The apartment, owned by Talal Al-Shuwaiki, is used to provide shelter for eight individuals of the family.
IOA policemen backed by border policemen encircled the vicinity of the building and imposed a tight military cordon before a municipality bulldozer completely destroyed the apartment.
Hebrew press on Thursday reported that the IOF soldiers rounded up 14 Palestinians in different West Bank towns and villages.
