Be gone from my view

I will pretend that I do not see you

With eyes shut tight

Nothing will be visible,

Not even light

You will suffer alone

For my heart has turned to stone

As my hands are covering my eyes

This leaves my ears exposed to your cries

Now please be silent if you could

Or at least muffle your cries if you would

I am not interested in your pain, anger, or rage

For as Palestinians you are alone in your cage

There is nothing more that I can do

I am too busy to be bothered with you

This is the way of the world today

Just accept it and please, please, just go away...
