Eye team treats nearly 100 poor people in Nablus

On October 25th, a three-member team from the USA, Australia and El
Salvador finished a week of cataract surgery at Rafidiah Hospital in
the West Bank town of Nablus. The team included Dr. Francis Nathan,
who has been on nearly a dozen PCRF eye mission to Gaza, Lebanon and
Nablus through the PCRF over the past 10 years. Dr. Roberto Jule from
El Salvador participated in his second mission, while OR nurse Baillie
Brown from California helped to run the two ORs during the mission,
ensuring that the many poor people in the northern West Bank got the
care and treatment that they badly needed. The PCRF has provided
hundreds of Palestinians sight-seeing operations over the past decade,
ensuring that these people can have a better and healthier life.
