Ikea: "Israel wiped off map by vandals"

IN BRIEF

Israel wiped off the map by vandals, Ikea says

Toronto -- Ikea is investigating how Israel was blacked out from world maps that the Scandinavian furniture store sells in its Abu Dhabi store.

Ikea Canada spokeswoman Madeline Lowenborg-Frick said she suspects the maps, manufactured in France, were vandalized.

Frank Dimant, B'nai Brith Canada's executive vice-president issued a statement saying the disappearance of Israel from the maps sold in one of Ikea's stores in the United Arab Emirates "is reflective of the reality on the ground in the Arab world of most nations refusing to recognize the existence of the Jewish state."

Frank what the hell are you talking about? We know very well Israel is in existence, believe me!
Citizens from all over the world especially those in America & Canada know - seems their tax money goes to fund the Ethnic Cleansing and breaking of every law on the book. The Palestinians themselves know all to well seems Israel has been trying to break them for over 60 years and still has not done so.

When you talk about people refusing to recognize the existence of the Jewish state - that's hard to do when Israel attempts to portray itself as a democracy to the rest of the world and in the real sense Israel calling itself a Jewish State is racist and what they have done and still do every day of the week to Palestinians is unacceptable and if you want people like me and people from around the globe to recognize Israel then Israel better start to recognize all the International laws they break especially all those United Nations resolutions they have and still break, or did they forget about them.

Frank - Israel can't have it both ways - Israel has to start to recognize that if they want peace and they want to be recognized then show us something real. Tear down that Apartied Wall,
stop building illegal settlements, allow the right of return for Palestinians, and that's just the start.

Frank I suggest if B'nai Brith is so for human rights then I suggest you speak out against Israel who has the best record of breaking them.
