GAZA, (PIC)-- The continued closure of the Rafah border terminal between Egypt and the Gaza Strip, which is the only gate for Gazans to the outside world, is turning Gaza into a big prison, Hamas said on Tuesday.
Dr. Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman in the Strip, was commenting on the formation of an Arab committee to break the siege on Gaza and to demand the opening of Rafah border crossing.
He appreciated the committee's stands and its demand for the immediate opening of Rafah crossing, describing it as an important demand since the crossing should be under Arab control.
The committee had called for allocating next Friday 8/8/2008 as an Arab and an international day to break the Gaza siege and open Rafah crossing.
Meanwhile, in the West Bank IOF troops rounded up five Hamas supporters in Fare refugee camp south of Tobas city on Tuesday.
The soldiers also kidnapped four Palestinians in Nablus city three at dawn and one in the afternoon.
