Zionists' problem one of legitimacy

Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani
Iran's Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has said that the problem of the Zionist regime is presently its suffering from lack of legitimacy.

Speaking at a ceremony for an Iranian diplomat disappeared in Lebanon in the early 1980s he said, "The Zionist regime is a trouble-maker in the region. As a result, the Middle East has not witnessed peace and tranquility over several decades," Larijani added.

He stated that Israel has always failed to find a pretext to justify its legitimacy.

"The Zionist regime is a supporter of apartheid. The dominant paradigm among international public opinion is that racism is doomed. Hence, Israel which is formed on the basis of the superiority of Jews over other races, is why the people of the world reject it," Larijani said.

Pointing to the Zionists, Larijani said, "You have problem with yourselves and you shouldn't look for an enemy from outside."

He noted that if the Islamic Republic of Iran is against the Zionist regime it is because of the issue of legitimacy.
