Since the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip began a year ago Palestinian medical patients have been awaiting “permission” to leave the Strip for necessary treatments. On Monday the death toll of those waiting reached 208.
One of the youngest died today, 19 month old Hadil Jawad Al Haddad.
Spokesman for the Popular Committee to Confront the Blockade, Rami Abdo, quoted medical sources regarding a death this morning of Latifa Mohammad Sain. She lived in western Gaza City’s Beach Refugee Camp.
Her son pointed out that she was in dire need of treatment for leukemia and that the family had attempted to obtain Israeli “permission” for outside treatment for 10 days.
Elsewhere sources also announced the death of 36 year old Abu Matar Mughraqa. He was one among many suffering from cancer and died because of a lack of necessary medication due to the siege.
Medical sources also announced the death of Ahmed Abu Shahin. He suffered from diabetes and kidney failure due to a lack of necessary treatment and the inability to leave the Gaza Strip.
Does Gilad Shalit get medical help? he's held against all human rights, Hamas won't even release a video so we can be sure he's alive and well.
ReplyDeleteYou don't deserve to be treated in Israeli hospitals, that by the way get bombed on purpose. Hizballah bombed Haifa hospitals, Hamas bombs Ashkelon hospital that treats Palis.... Absurd world.
You want to talk about one Israeli you feel is held against all human rights. You seem to forget the thousands of Palestinians are currently being held in Israeli jails and jail is a nice word, compared to the kinds of places they are being held.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Palestinians I am talking about are innocent people, a lot of whom were not even arrested they are being detained, for months, and years.
When we hear that a Palestinian was arrested what they really means is that A Palestinian was kidnapped.
So please spare me the tears, focus on real international laws and justice...speak out against Israel.
