some internationals staying here at Ibdaa found a small, inconspicuous cardboard box from the street yesterday after the invasion. turns out it was the shipping box that some of the ammunition used by the israeli occupation forces came from, shipped from Combined Systems, Inc. in New Jersey, to be fired at the youth of the camp all afternoon.
if you look on their flashy, terrifying website (be prepared at http://www.combinedsystems.com/ you can see some of the exact munitions we were tripping over yesterday. I know other tear gas canisters we saw came from Philadelphia and Kansas.
On the box itself were the shipping manifests, complete with personal phone numbers, names, email addresses and fax numbers of the company.
yesterday's invasion in Dheisheh, as are all of the daily invasions all across occupied Palestine, was entirely illegal under international law, UN resolutions, the Geneva conventions, and the International Declaration of Human Rights. Maybe Combined Systems didn't read up on those important documents before selling their death machinery to the rogue, criminal Israeli government.
with information comes power.
