Boat To Gaza

You may have heard about the plan to send a boat to Gaza with aid
supplies, celebrities, journalists etc. on board. The plans are
finally taking off and they plan to set sail from Cyprus to Gaza in
August. Please visit http://www.freegaza.org for details.

For this project to be a success it needs maximum publicity —
whether or not they succeed in actually getting into Gaza. In fact,
this venture is a fantastic way of making people aware of just how
Gaza is really under siege, and is a great campaigning opportunity.

PSC will be supporting the project by helping to organise a press
launch in August. We will also link their site to our front page
for the duration of the voyage, so that visitors to our site get
regular updates. Please could branches also help to publicise this
event in their area, though local media etc. Visit the website and
contact the organisers to find out how you can help. Also when the
participants return from Gaza, I am sure that they will be available
for public meetings and it will be very interesting to hear about
their experiences.
