Action is the best antidote to despair.
It is also what gives life meaning and energy:
working towards an event or action for justice
is in itself a victory and a success).
As someone who studied medicine, I can tell
you it also boosts immune systems and prolongs life :-)
. Best of all, no skills required and everyone can do it.
Examples of thousands of good past actions for
justice/peace followed by action items going forward:

8) CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.
From ICAHD: Prof. Jeff Halper, founder and
co-ordinator of the Israeli Committee Against
House Demolitions, has just been arrested
for trying to prevent the demolition of the
Hamdan family's home (Anata), which is now
being demolished. The bulldozers are
"only upholding the law", in contradiction
to international law, the Geneva Convention,
human rights of those under Occupation, etcetera.
