The Free Arab State of Palestine
is not currently found on a map or
in any textbook. It does not hold
seats in the United Nations or the
Arab League. It does however exist
in the hearts and minds of the
6.5 million Palestinians
throughout the world, as it does in
every person who truly opposes
imperialism and tyranny.

This passport aims to transcend the borders which
separate Palestinians from one another throughout
the world. It aims to rise above those who wish to
erase Palestine, her people and her history.
It is manifest proof of the existence of a Palestine
which no power can occupy, no army can conquer
and no person can deny, and it is our humble hope
that it will be a precursor of things to come.

For millions of Palestinians the hope of having any
passport, let alone a Palestinian passport seems an
impossible dream. Even as "guests"
of their neighbors in the Middle East they are fortunate
if they are given the "travel Documents" these countries
issue to refugees. Many live their lives throughout the
world stateless and in constant unrest wondering will
they ever return home. Al-Awda (the Return) is
central to the Palestinian struggle and to
Al-Awda New York's work. It is for this reason that we
created the first passport for the Free Arab State of Palestine.
This symbolic document embodies the dreams of the
Palestinian people to regain their homeland.
Anyone who is Palestinian or fully supports the struggle
of the Palestinian people is welcome to apply for a
passport and citizenship to the Free Arab State of Palestine.
On the passport application you will be asked to sign the following:

Applying for this passport and citizenship to the
Free Arab State of Palestine is simple. Your donation
for application will support Al-Awda New York in
its work for the Palestinian people both here and
abroad. The suggested donation is determined by
a sliding scale based on annual salary
(see chart below). You will also
be asked to provide a passport photo.

Allow 6-8 weeks for processing and
delivery of your passport from the date we
receive your application. If the form is not
filled out completely and/or two standard
passport photos are not included, the missing
information will be requested.
This will significantly delay the receipt of your passport.

WARNING: The document you are applying for is
a symbolic document and is not recognized by any
nation, nation state or any other government or
agency. The document is not a legal form of
identification, and does not entitle the holder the
right of travel. It does not guarantee land rights,
residency status or actual citizenship to any current
or future state of Palestine or state of any other name.
DO NOT attempt to use this passport for identification
or for any other official purpose. Any attempt to do so
may result in violation of the law and possibly in fines
and/or imprisonment. This document does not
displace or replace an officially issued national
passport where one is required.
