But what's this, Israel to get nice?
No cause for concern or anything, I mean,
it's not like anyone actually cares as such
and they have sought planning permission
this time, just got to wait for the nod from
Dubya – so won't have too long a wait then -
and it's all systems go… "Do unto Gaza as
we did unto Iraq," even to the point of
splitting into 3 parts…

Yeh, we're just going to 'fly-swat' Hamas
out of existence but just for once we're
going to be nice and evacuate the residents,
before we level whole neighbourhoods of the
Gaza Strip and then as we pull out, we'll just
send NATO in to tidy up…

I dunno, Israel must be getting soft in it's old
age, mind you, aged enough to the point of
senility even, I mean this old has-been has
completely lost it – he wants 'talks,'
with Hamas!

Washington Dispatch: Former Israeli
intelligence chief Efraim Halevy explains
why he advocates talks with Hamas.

It's fair to call Efraim Halevy—who served
three Israeli prime ministers as chief of the
Mossad, Israel's national intelligence service—
a hawk. Read on:
Huh, Hamas, what do they know? I mean,
listen to this one whinge on about the plight
of Palestinian Prisoners. Got a roof haven't they?
Get fed don't they? OK, OK, I know one or
two get killed from time to time but I still
reckon an Israeli jail is a safer place to be
than a Hamas Police Station.
And by all accounts, particularly the top link
here, an Israeli jail for the foreseeable at least,
could prove a whole lot safer than the streets
of especially selected Gazan neighbourhoods.

MP Mona Mansour, a member of the
Hamas parliamentary bloc, stated that the
question of Palestinian prisoners is one of
the core issues and one of the biggest
humanitarian and legal issues today.
