West's double standards over human rights not acceptable: Boroujerdi

The European delegations talks with the Iranian authorities will have a significant effect in their familiarity about Iran, the head of parliament's national Security and foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said.

"Western power's double standards on human rights are unacceptable since they criticize Iran but do not protest against human right's violations in Abu Ghoraib and Guantanamo prisons, and some other secret prisons in European countries or against Zionist's crimes on Palestinian people," he said.

The European powers refused to answer to these remarks, he noted while adding the West should account for the U.S. and some European power's violation of human rights since International Amnesty organization's report over British prisons suggests that the prisoners are in a terrible conditions there.
