Please take a moment to phone or email Congressman King. Here's a copy
of my email to him:
Congressman King:
It is shocking to hear a member of the United States Congress make such
a racist statement as the one you made when you said "there are too
many mosques in this country." Imagine if somebody said "there are
too many synagogues in this country" or "too many churches in this
country"? Would you not consider those statements to be racist?
What there are apparently too many of in this country are nationally
elected officials who are bought and paid for by AIPAC, presumably
including your honorable self.

AMERICAN COUNCIL ON MIDDLE EAST POLICY
TELL REP. PETER KING THAT CONGRESS
IS NO PLACE FOR BIGOTS
In a recent interview, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) said that there are
"unfortunately too many mosques in this country. There are too many
people who are sympathetic to radical Islam," he added, and lamented
that "there's been a lack of full cooperation from too many people in
the Muslim community. And it's a real threat here in this country."
Bigotry is unacceptable in anyone but is particularly shocking in a US
Congressman who is supposed to uphold our laws against racism and
exemplify American tolerance. Imagine the uproar if he had said there
were too many synagogues or too many churches! Let him hear
youropinion about such blatant fear-mongering of Muslims!
CALL REP. KING'S OFFICE IN WASHINGTON AT 202-225-7896, OR SEND
HIM AN E-MAIL AT PETE.KING@MAIL.HOUSE.GOVTO TELL HIM HE NEEDS
TO APOLOGIZE NOW AS HIS REMARKS ARE OFFENSIVE TO ALL AMERICANS
REGARDLESS OF THEIR BELIEFS.
