55 Palestinian killed in Hamas-Fatah clashes in four days

The Al-Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, issued a statement demanding that Palestinian security forces loyal to Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah lay down their arms, Palestinian sources reported on Wednesday.

40 Fatah men cross into Egypt, fleeing Gaza factional fighting
Some 40 security officials affiliated with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party fled to Egypt on Wednesday, to escape violence in the Gaza Strip, Egyptian officials said.
