IOF troops kidnap more Palestinians amidst persistent raids on WB towns
Large numbers of IOF troops have stormed the West Bank city of AL-Khalil and the nearby Dura town at the first hours of Tuesday morning, searching and ransacking Palestinian homes for alleged wanted Palestinians.
According to Palestinian security sources in the city, three Palestinian youths in their twenties were rounded up at the hands of the IOF troops during the raid that later on led them to an undisclosed location.
The three were identified as Mahmoud Fawzi Amre, 25, Ismael Al-Daraweesh, 22, and Ahmed Amre, 29.
Another two Palestinian young men were also arrested after the IOF troops stormed their homes in the outskirts of the city. Identity of the two Palestinians weren’t revealed.
In Jenin city, the IOF troops unleashed similar incursions and kidnapped a Palestinian youth from Kabatia town, north of the West Bank amidst intensive machinegun shooting, according to local residents.
The kidnap victim was identified as Mohammed Ahmed Nazzal, 24, who was later taken by the IOF troops to unidentified location as they pulled out of the city.
More Israeli military barriers were reportedly installed along the road connecting Jenin and Nablus cities as Israeli soldiers scrutinized IDs of Palestinian citizens and motorists crossing that road, making it difficult for them to reach their schools and workplaces.
In addition, gangs of armed Israeli settlers assailed two Palestinian farmers cultivating their crops in Halhool city, north of Al-Khalil, inflicting wounds and bruises all over their bodies.
In Gaza Strip, Israeli soldiers stationed north of Gaza Strip opened their machinegun fire on Palestinian homes in Beit Hanon city in a frenzied manner but no casualties were reported among the Palestinian inhabitants.
On Monday, the Israeli occupation government warned that its occupation army will sweep the Gaza Strip if Palestinian missile attacks on Israeli settlements and IOF troops positions around the Strip didn’t come to a halt.
